Golf Clubs are usually run by general managers on behalf of the members committee. The Golf  Club Managers Association (G.C.M.A.) meets on a regional and national basis frequently and we were invited to talk on behalf of a client at the South West regional meeting in summer 2015.

Most Golf Clubs are classified as private members clubs, although some are privately owned and operated but all are run with revenue and profit targets in the normal manner of a business. Increasingly the climate in golf clubs is changing and they are diversifying where possible to either meet members demands, or ensure their survival and continued success.

One of our client specialises in working in the hospitality industry so the subject of our presentation was how a good food and beverage offer can often add to the bottom line, but keeping up with both recent trends and of course compliance standards is also all important.

Golf Clubs from Salisbury, Chippenham, Poole and more were present and we’re delighted to report that this presentation lead to more business for our client.
